International Macro-Business Simulation Competition 2024

On September 8, 2024, the International Macro Business Simulation Global Competition 2024 reached its thrilling conclusion with an engaging closing program. This final day showcased the hard work and creativity of the top eight teams, each presenting their innovative MBS projects to a panel of esteemed judges: Miss Lalita Hongratanawong, Mr. Supakit Nakarajoupolm, Miss Chanapun Juangroongruangkit, and Mr. Ching Kwock Wing. The presentations were followed by rigorous Q&A sessions, where each team was closely scrutinized. Their ability to articulate their ideas and respond to challenging questions played a crucial role in determining their rankings.

Consolation prizes were awarded to students from Walailak University, Chulalongkorn University, and Silpakorn University, recognizing their efforts and contributions. The competition was fierce, and the results reflected the high level of talent present. The fourth runner-up was Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta, while third place was claimed by a collaborative team consisting of students from Silpakorn University, Mahidol University International College (MUIC), and Chulalongkorn University. Chulalongkorn University achieved an impressive second place, but the grand champion title went to the KU BBA International Program, highlighting their exceptional performance.

 

Mr. Gerald Lim, a guest lecturer from KU BBA, expertly moderated the closing program, ensuring the event flowed smoothly and engagingly. Following the awards ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thamrongsak Svetalekth, Chairman of the Board of Directors, delivered a heartfelt closing speech. In his address, he expressed his sincere gratitude to all participants, sponsors, students, and staff for their dedication and hard work, which contributed to the event's remarkable success. His words resonated with everyone present, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration and achievement that defined the competition.
